Hello
I read already a lot to dual citizenship (am been inferred from an other forum here) have however still have a few questions about the dual citizenship.
Short to me:
My name is Pablo, I'm in Brazil born, have a German mother and one Brazilian father (now deceased). At the age of 4, I came to Germany (separation) and live for 18 years now here in Germany. I have a Brazilian children's passport (which is of course long since expired) and a Brazilian birth certificate, also since I'm a German passport. Now I would like to return to my high school diploma to Brazil, to discover new country, language, family and culture.
-According to Brazilian law, I am Brazilian, I should get back easily the Brazilian pass even with the birth certificate.
-According to German law, I am German (principle of birth?) Mother German, father of Brazilian). On my German passport, also "German" is a nationality.
Now the questions:
-Must I apply for the Brazilian Passport before entering, or meets my German passport on which as place of birth Jaciara (Brazil) stands? Is where appropriate birth certificate necessary to enter?
-Is a travel only with Passport and tourist Visum(urspruenglich_geplant) not possible since I am Yes under Brazilian law Brasilaner, or?
-Where can I obtain dual citizenship? Very little information it can be found on the actual application... Where should I go? Who decides whether I may have a dual citizenship?
-Suppose I apply a new Brazilian passport (incl ballot paper and what is needed for this), can I do this from Germany out, or can this be done in Brazil on the ground? Do I get in the country without a Brazilian Passport?
-Will my German citizenship through the acquisition of the Brazilian automatically terminate? Can I call the races right? (after all, my mother is German)
My big wish is to have both nationalities, and to hold two passports. I want to lose my German citizenship but of course in no way by purchasing my Brazilian.
Glad every tip about every answer!
Thank you very much
