"Dangerous" is always relative. On average, Brazil is certainly more dangerous than e.g. Germany. But just as there are corners in D, you should better avoid, there are also in Brazil. Flights not only is it with Condor, but also with TAM and Air France after Salvador and sometimes cheap deals flying to Porto Seguro (the last times February 2007 with KLM, unfortunately).
