Oi gente!

Am new here, and have read many interesting posts, now I have a question and hope you can help me.

I fly in 2 weeks after Rio with my friend and we end up in the evening in the Galeao.. Our Hotel is the Centro in the vicinity of the Gloria Metro station. Now my question: How do we in the evening the best and most safely then?
An option would be taxi, but is it safe? And how much would cost it about?
I have also heard there is a bus which executivo only $4R should cost and drives into the city. I have considered taking them until the rodoviaria, and from there by taxi to the hotel. The rodoviaria is safe in the evening or one should avoid it prefer to be there on the road?

What do you, what is the best way?

The problem with security is not the question of taxi or bus, but the line is (or was) the problem...

I would just forget the idea with the Rodoviária. Taxi will cost no more than $50 R (not have the exact price, but after Nova Iguaçu there are about $70 R). I would not even 18 euros for me but no head make... Rodoviária is really just what for connoisseurs (and with little luggage...)

Go to the "official" taxi, which have price tables and the cars are registered.

You must so or so take a taxi if you not either by bus (from the Rodoviária even 2 x) switch or +/-400 m walk want go. And regular bus with luggage is shit because of usual, sporting Fahrstils of the bus drivers and the hubs. So, it makes sense to go immediately to the GIG in a taxi. The tip of the escalator is super, but somehow I have in mind that you must down the escalator and not up. Above ATMs can be found and there is no output. But that's not kriegsentscheidend.

A "normal" taxi should cost no more than BRL 40 after Gloria. Thus I came sooner loose after Ipanema, but inflation probably has some expensive (or I have heard least bad).
