Die beiden A!

    Standard AW: News from Sepetiba

    The week starts at.

The alarm clock rings 5: 30 pm, then breakfast in the room, no coffee (not a machine as – for Lemi is a disaster), then 1 hour drive to the construction site across the backcountry.

After I the first night due to mosquito attacks pretty little had slept the day because of fatigue was then to eternity. At the end was still a mammoth meeting from 15: 00 to 18: 30. By a few intense dispute clean during the meeting, my adrenaline was high but as far as that fatigue was blown away.

I'm still a bit confused, but that's on the first day on a Riesenbau authority always so. There are pig much to do, but it not quite know where to begin. One must only times even organize and try to make not of the Herumgejammere of influence colleagues. So program set up and then just with the head through the wall. So the Lemi has always been most successfully made –.

So we in the evening at 7 the factory gate left, went through the dark Santa Cruz. The city itself is not a problem. Reminds me strongly of Guarapari without promenade or Ouro Branco in the Interior of Minas Gerais, 4 Years of my residence.

My colleague said that I Yes should continue on the way to work, because then a horde of people arrive and want anything from you. I thought that exaggerated, but can imagine so slowly, what he means. He told me that he times had a puncture on a drive and wanted to start to change the wheel. When a few strong guys „zur Hilfe“ came, he jumped in fear in the car and pressed on the gas. Up to the next gas station he continued on the rim which of course then entirely in the Ass was. At least he had, so he felt his own Ass saved.

Another episode, I got to hear yesterday was that of remaining behind the VW of beetle. On the way to work, a beetle was on a slight slope with double track road. The driver was around in the engine compartment, but, as proved in the evening, seemed to have been unsuccessful because the bug was still in the same place.

However, it was no longer exactly the same bug... it was namely jacked up and had no wheels. The following morning, already the doors and the trunk lid had been dismantled. Late in the evening then he was even on the roof and the engine block was missing. Why you must, create the beetle on the roof to get out the engine, is questionable, likely but because lacked the necessary lifting equipment.

It is always amazing how in Brazil developed a momentum of things. While the General construction sites operating Brazilian wasted a single thought, let alone thought, to the progress of his work, he shows great interest in the free be Reichung of its acquis in everyday life. That ´s begins with removal of overturned truck and ceases for example, when the with addition of small tools of the site. Here no limit to the fantasies and the supposedly limited ingenuity of the Brazilian takes on here sometimes exorbitant proportions.

To my original point in the Espírito Santo have I myself must determine the loss of all cable drums letter. Some cases have been clarified. The waste transport company had promoted the cable drums neatly under a thin layer of garbage on a truck through the factory gate. The guardian has only become suspicious when the truck in direction city dump abbog, but continued straight on. He did record the persecution and the thief goods was ensured. Certainly a godsend, because usually is in such large-scale theft so much money at stake, that the guardian or his entire company to be bestochen. The case of the rekuperierten cable drums was so not a stroke of luck, but incompetence on the part of the organizers.

When I see the input controls on the Thyssen factory gate are as keen, I can imagine very well, which has already expired. It is so a bit of check point Charly ambience. You never know whether you really get through or is arrested.

    Continued...

Clean! I see already, you will quickly have explored the corner.

But certainly one of the reasons why limited RADIUS some one with home or temporary residence in Barra since only a Tijuca in his environment familiar. On the other, northern side of the street of Avenida Americas is only for shopping or in a few clubs, otherwise it remains de Marapendi prefer between Avenida and beach, preferably South of the Canal... and actually it entrenched anyway prefer the own Condominios or those of friends.

    Here are some tips:

At night be sure times by Pedra da Guaratiba, there are several neat fish-local, but also other (simple) restaurant (fish are hopefully not directly from the polluted Bay). A (charming, but missed) French woman served in the pizzeria.

The most famous restaurant in this corner is probably the „do of Bira“ (or „Bira ´ s“) in Barra de Guaratiba with a wonderful view over the Bay. However compared sauteuer.

Somewhere nearby (at the statue of the „Nossa whatever ich“) I am the times with a rowing past a wither Islands, mostly deserted. You should even take food. The quiet situation has its advantages until well creams … even if the Sun does not burn, on the dead fish in the water and onto the sharp rock edges, have increased at that time a nasty sunburn me.

On a weekend you can take an excursion in the Mata Atlantica behind Itaguaí. Somewhere there is a not spectacular, but still nice waterfall. I type on the Parque Vera Cruz, knows this but is no longer accurate. Your colleagues will know that safe. (But manageable) waste and the signature of the CV point out that the small lake below the waterfall is frequented also at, but most Weekenders (and long-term travellers) prefer to be at the sunshine to the Creek below the falls. There are also some simple bars where there is music, churrasco, nice people and accordingly good afternoon found along the bumpy „Hauptstraesschens“. To my knowledge there are no fixed police checkpoints on the way, thank God, because the last beer on my former visit was clearly one too many

I could tell you Sepetiba itself, well … where one can sit quite nice and enjoy an ice-cream, or where you can surf the hour on the Internet for 1 reais, but these are truly no highlights

Pretty (very pretty even) girls are however quite!

For shopping, I recommend the place to Santa Cruz, Campo Grande.

You are right. Rio is a culture shock for me. Even though I all am other than a favela newbie.

Did you mean really? Not so bad, I find the Conjunto Paulo VI. Perhaps reason that I myself have used it. Had to finally there even at night up and leave, because we there gave our daughter with my brother-in-law, at night to work out...

This sounds so like an ordinary tourist.

You will laugh. Our site is in Sepetiba, but I know not where it is located. In our how to get there, we go by Santa Cruz and there is also the factory gate.

I think my stay is time severely limited. First 3 months, then perhaps later 2 months to the hot-IBS. The wars then. What is then, no one knows. Crisis just... I hear but so certain "Lockrufe" from India. Certainly, Dietmar has made already a Scout friends Forum. There we read us then perhaps once again.

Clear, but maybe you have desire time after "Country life" away from the city (although Sepetiba very reminiscent of country life). You will laugh at, at that time I met even a few holiday-makers from Minas! By the way, of Santa Cruz in the direction of Praia, which is easy Sepetiba. There are motels also two, three, very cheap, but also not a luxury. Had tiled mal ne suite with a really large jacuzzi (for 8 people), but everything in the dark brown of the 80s, phew. Would you not need but also your terrace overlooking the sea...

    Lemi say thank you.
