Navigation in Brazil?

Hello together
I would be interested times like it in Brazil actually with a
Navigation device looks for the car? I heard it but
a lot should be more expensive.They are indeed now here with us but right
conveniently located to get. I myself have even none.But through the profession
would have been there several times already for me useful. Because I could imagine such a device as well as a gift I would like know whether you can use the German units in Brazil. Is it at all useful or advisable? Because I now also still am familiar with these devices I don't know also if you get various maps of Brazil at all.Let alone whether they would work on German devices?
It would be nice if someone of you could enlighten me something about.

Exactly, it is still very expensive in Brazil.

Have just a Garmin for Europe brought me. There are also maps for South America. Have not tried but it. Can hardly any city street include, but only the main streets throughout South America on it is supposed to be.

There are also gps devices. the answer was
Oh well, explained it then what it is which, but give it does so something was not the answer.
the only what you want to give it there is satelitenortung of motor vehicles!
is the two systems which use the same technologies just strange.
Perhaps it is also only up to the still existing digitize cards material.
could imagine that something for sp or rio is very useful.

Frankly I can not imagine but also that each tip that will be accessible in the near future. I suspect the first cities such as São Paulo or Rio and surroundings are planned.
Would be nice of course if anyone of you could tell more.

GPS is a satellite-based system in the US military, and works in the
most remote corner of Brazil. It has with GSM (the one typically only in)

Hello

use my Garmin for three years in Brazil for navigation. The places
have it all. Detailed navigation doesn't work yet. Still a great help for this poor signage. And again one comes home...
