Navigation in Brazil?: I have installed me the HTC Touch Cruise P3650. Can I use as a phone and has integrated a GPS also. Installed I have Route66 Europe and Destinator with Western Europe and Brazil on a 4 GB of micro SD card. Route 66, because I find the map view better. TomTom would be as one

Route 66, because I find the map view better. TomTom would be also a good alternative. However, I have found only the Destinator Brazil maps.
The navigation works fine, also the display is still readable in sunlight.

    Oi Macao
Last updated at TomTom Brazil was: the map of Brazil is firmly installed in the device and can not copy and thus transfer to other devices, e.g. from Germany,. Include purchased additional cards (grade Eastern Europe acquired) coupled to the single specific device, on which you downloaded/installed be and let is also here not to a second device (which my wife) transferred.
TomTom or the undertaking of this Dutch map, where the cards come from offering so far no Brazil cards for the local devices.

Had Christmas the navigation software on a GPS-enabled Nokia phone views, very well worked in BH. However, the mobile phone was pig tax.

The Brazil maps installed times me on my TomTom and am of the opinion that for $1100R is too expensive.
If man it just in the big cities, a great Sache(dann_ist_aber_auch_schluss_mit_lustig) used with security and it has better maps with Google Earth.
Can test in 6 weeks but really my TomTom since I'm just in Germany.

    Oi hartl
    Thank you for the info.
You have a Brazilian TomTom in Brazil bought?
The Brazilian card gabs extra and had to be installed?

You wrote that unfortunately not so clearly. And it does not match the information I got from Brazil, that the map is already in the device and is personalized with the device at least and are transferable to other devices, even not on purchased in Europe. My colleague had taken his with as Brazil. A Brazilian colleague wanted to have brought a presiwertes TT what was but too risky for me. So far, the two have found still no solution to make it work.

The cards outside the few cities not so doll are, didn't I also expect I was already happy that Belo Horizonte was it in detail on it, which worked (as a rental unit for 10 was quite good reais per day in Lokalizer)

PS: on the Brazilian TomTom are on the cards for WestEuropa with?

This Brazilian colleague wanted to have an i-phone from here, we have spoken out also that him. Because the i-phone has no UMTS there is no quick reception in Brazil. the i-phone has edge, what is there but not in Brazil. To do this, you get no software needed but at a free t-COM-i-phone. So, if you buy the most expensive MP3 player in the world for 1,000 euros. T-COM has now discontinued the sale of free.
